The Lineup
Scott Long
A tenured language arts, AVID, and history teacher at Orchard Lake Middle School in West Bloomfield,
Michigan, Scott Long’s passion is teaching.
He spent three years as an assistant coach for Hal Watts (East Side Team Sports, 13-14 year-old team)
and four years as a head coach in the Macomb Amateur Baseball Federation.
In his four years as a head coach in the MABF, he coached the same core group of players from their
11 year-old season to their 14 year-old season (Clinton Township Stars and Macomb Nails Baseball Club).
At the high school level, Scott Long is a JV head coach at Bloomfield Hills Lahser High School.

Steve Falmer
Steve was an infielder and starting pitcher at Lake Shore High School in St. Clair Shores.
Steve also competed in collegiate baseball at Macomb Community College.
During his time at MCC he worked as a late inning specialist out of the bullpen,
under the direction of Steve Merriman (Current pitching coach for the Missoula Osprey an affiliate
of the Arizona Diamondbacks).
Steve began pitching instruction with the Macomb Community College Baseball Winter Camp in 2000,
and has since served as the pitching coach for the MABF Clinton Township Stars
(11 and 12 year-olds) and the MABF Macomb Nails pitching coach (13 and 14 year-olds).

Brandon Chrzanowski

Brandon Chrzanowski played four years of baseball for Notre Dame High School in Harper Woods, MI.
After high school, he attended college at Central Michigan University where he earned a degree in
Commercial Recreation.
During his time in college he developed a passion for instructing and coaching.
His first instructing position was at the West Midland Family Center in Mt. Pleasant, MI.
Later, he became a recreation project leader for the Sundial Beach Resort in Ft. Myers, Fl.
Brandon then came back to Michigan to start a career in coaching baseball.
He was an assistant coach for the MABF Clinton Township Stars (11 and 12 year-olds) and the
MABF Macomb Nails (13 and 14 year-olds) for four years. After, he coached for two years
at the collegiate level as an infield coach for the Macomb Community College Monarchs.
Currently, Brandon is an operations manager for Preferred Filter Recycling.

JR Engalan
Served at Sterling Heights high school as a 3 sport athlete and captain.
Continued on my passion to lead as an assistant coaching athletes from 7th grade to varsity athletes.
Today I am harnessing my knowledge of coaching and abilities as a web developer to provide a website
for athletes to harness as the primary source for his/her ultimate success on and off of the field.
